As I was asking the activities desk at the hotel how much for snorkeling equipment, the guy said we does not charge people. So he gives up some equipment to use. For beach of a resort part of town, I was surprised how many fish we saw. After snorkeling we headed back to the room to clean up before we had to check out. (more…)

Today was island day. We
Today was island day. We rented a car and drove all around the island. Stopped at anything that struck our fancy. We stopped at a beach to have breakfast. We were the only ones at the beach which felt a little odd. I guess having lived in Tokyo for 2 years, being the only one for 200 yards or more just doesn’t feel normal anymore. (more…)

Breakfast of the balcony
Breakfast of the balcony overlooking the tropical views (I could get use to this). As the temperatures start dropping in Tokyo (and Cinci for that matter) it seems like a good idea to spend the day at the beach. The beach is gorgeous and the water is warm. I brought a beach ball and a Frisbee, so we just played for most of the day. (more…)

Well, first day in Guam!
Well, first day in Guam! Left my apartment about 4am and made it to Guam in the afternoon. First order of business was a trip to K-mart to pick up some supplies. Attached to the K-mart was a Little Caesar’s Pizza where we had lunch. It was very nice to get American style pizza. (more…)
