Even more soaking up the sun and surf, and generally enjoying where I was.

Volcano!!!! TOO COOL. I
Volcano!!!! TOO COOL. I got a ride from a friend. My goodness. That was the scariest ride I’ve been on. I don’t know if it’s just that I haven’t really been in a car much in the last 9 months or he was just a really wild driver but, by the time we got to the volcano (3 hour drive) I was ready to walk back. Ron and Elizabeth also were scared witless so I’m guessing it was not just me. I even made an excuse for Elizabeth and Ron to ride in another car back home. No since in all of us dieing! After the volcano we drove an hour to a near by town for diner. By the time we got out of diner it was dark and raining. After that he drove just fine all the way home. (P.S. he’s a great guy just done let him drive you anywhere!!!!!!!) For diner I got to have real American style pizza at “Pizza Hut” It’s real hard to find good pizza in Japan, so I really enjoyed the pizza.

The next 6 entries are fo
The next 6 entries are for my Hawaii trip. I’ll be talking about everything that happened on my trip, however I think I got my days messed up. My trip was from Friday to the following Sunday.
Let’s start with my trip to Hawaii. It started at about 3pm. I was at my desk talking to some of the guys, telling them about my flight. My plane would leave Japan at about 8pm and get to Hawaii at about noon. At first glance you would think that would be noon on Sat. and that it’s an all night flight. Well you would think so. I had forgotten about a little thing called the international date line. That is where, when you flight over it you change days. So I wasn’t going to get to Hawaii at noon on Sat. but noon on Friday. About 8 hours before I take off from Japan. That’s right I will relive from Thr midnight to Friday noon, twice. Once at work and again in the plane on my way to Japan. The problem is that I didn’t think I had reservations for Friday night.
Oh well. One night sleeping on the beach would not be too bad. Well I get to Hawaii and to the hotel with no problem. When I checked in I don’t know if I had a reservation or not but they gave me a room so I was happy. I spent the rest of the day just adjusting to Hawaii. Walking around and checking out the sun, ocean, and the resort area.
