I’ve been in Japan at Nissan last week and this. We’ve been working until 10-12 at night so have only had the weekends to have some fun. It’s been nice to be back in Japan. It’s reminded me of the things I miss about Japan and the things I don’t. It’s the little things I miss the most about Japan. The unusual tempo of life in Japan. My friends. The options of spending my time. The Japanese people. The things I don’t miss is the inflexibilities of living here. Not being able to talk to anyone I see.

Fuji Almost
There was a group of people going to dive to the fifth station on Fuji Mt. and they asked me if I wanted to join. I say almost because we only went to the 5th station, not all the way to the top. I don�”t think I�”ll be able to climb before I leave so figured this was as close as I was going to get so I joined. We gathered at 1am at the hotel. We drove all night and got to Fuji right before sun rise. Where we were was right between 2 layers of clouds. After a few hours of looking around and watching the sun rise, we jumped back into the van and drove back to the office. We make it back by about 7am. I went to work. Watching the sun rise from Mt Fuji was worth staying up all night for. Geo Location

My 3 teachers
After Kendo today we all went next door for some food and drinks. After the usual my 3 teachers and I when to a new place to have same wine. Everyone in the dojo has been great about helping me, but these three guys have just been outstanding. They are some of the nicest people you would want to meet. I am enjoying Kendo but I think these guys have a lot to do with it.
