Beach day. We had the tour company just drop us off at a beach for the day. It felt a little like Gilligan’s Island, but not for too long. I hope they remember to pick us up! We had the island to our own. We just hung out. Did some swimming, snorkeling. (more…)

Kayak trip. We started a
Kayak trip. We started at 7:45am. Met the people running the dive shop we will be using while in Palau, met some of the others going on our trip and loaded up on the boat. Our guide explained what we would be doing on this trip, where we would be going and what we may see there. As we headed out it was my first chance to see the rock islands of Palau. (more…)

First on the agenda
First on the agenda was to make arrangements for the rest of the week. I called all 4 dive shops and found the one with the best activities and price. Next breakfast at an internet caf�. I wanted to try out the snorkel equipment and my new underwater camera case so we went to a beach on the main island. The beach was nice but the snorkeling was very bad. (more…)
